Donna has 20 plus years of municipal finance experience – having held various progressive positions with the City of Mississauga such as:
• Manager, Financial Planning and Policy
• Finance Manager of the Transportation and Works Department; and
• Manager of Accounting.
Currently, she is overseeing MFOA’s “AMP It Up” Pilot Project which is a series of four Asset Management Plan programs primarily funded by the Province of Ontario.
Donna is a past Board member of the Municipal Finance Officers Association (MFOA) and past President. She currently sits on the Boards of the Committee on Canadian Issues for Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) and Ontario Coalition of Sustainable Infrastructure (OCSI). In addition to teaching the budget and financial reporting component of Municipal Finance 101 for MFOA, she also teaches the Finance component of Asset Management Plan for Ontario Good Roads Association - Road School.
