Director, Training and Business Development, Dimensions of Leadership
Pramila is an engaging Speaker, Mediator and Trainer working in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Community Development for over 17 years. She is the Director of Training and Development at Dimensions of Leadership. She works with her participants to facilitate solutions by consensus that are practical and robust. Her experience in mediation includes: workplace, residential and commercial properties, personal injury, employment and business related contractual disputes (including wrongful dismissal) and accident benefits.
Pramila is VP President Elect at the ADR Institute of Ontario and has the distinct designation as a Charter Mediator (C.Med.) by the ADR Institute of Canada. She is a member of the mediation rosters for the Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program for Toronto as well as the ADR Institute of Ontario.
Her work and success in ADR and Community Development has been featured on CBC radio, televised on CTV and published in the Toronto Star. She has also guest lectured at Schulich School of Business, Ryerson, University of Ontario, George Brown College and Seneca.
She has provided mediation, ADR & leadership training and consulting services to thousands of participants of many organizations, including union groups, crown corporations, major Canadian enterprises, faith groups and community organizations across Canada.
In addition to her mediation practice, Pramila uses engagement strategies, research and her skills in ADR in Community Organizing to mobilize and empower community groups to work on their neighbourhood vision and priorities that they have set as a community to create and sustain long lasting positive changes to build stronger neighbourhoods across the GTA. She has facilitated hundreds of community meetings for residents to plan, negotiate and leverage resources for their communities. She has received numerous leadership awards for strengthening the community.
She has also worked with many organizations to build their leadership teams and help resolve conflicts, facilitate brainstorming and think tank sessions. She has provided training and coaching on a variety of workshops; including anger management, vision and goal setting, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Pramila is both a program advisory member for Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution at Durham College and Community Development at Centennial College.
