AMANDA SMITH, M.A.Sc., P.Eng. LEED AP
Amanda Smith is the Managing Director of the Canadian Urban Institute and Executive Director of the Toronto 2030 District. Her work focuses on supporting lower carbon and more resilient communities and improving resource management. She leads teams, conducts research, produces events and connects with stakeholders to develop tools, resources and plans to respond to these complex issues. Before joining CUI she led the development of several hospital projects and the stadium venues for the 2015 Pan Am Games while at Infrastructure Ontario. She is a past Director and Secretary of the Board of the Canada Green Building Council – Greater Toronto Chapter and has undergraduate and masters degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto.
