Jennifer Best joined York Region in 2013 as a senior planner focusing on special projects including consultation lead for York Region's Municipal Comprehensive Review/Official Plan update/Vision review, managing the Coordinated Land use Planning Review for the Growth Plan, Greenbelt Plan and Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan Provincial Plans review, housing measuring and monitoring and source water protection implementation.  With 20 years involved in municipal development review of planning applications this experience has led to a strong skill set of policy formulation, business process planning and project management.
