Blue Mountain

Conference 2017

Welcome

The Planning Knowledge Exchange
Blue Mountain Resort
Town of the Blue Mountains, Ontario - October 3-5, 2016

On behalf of OPPI Council and Staff, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who attended, spoke at, or worked to bring the 2017 Conference to life.

To the attendees, your participation in the Conference and engagement with speakers sparked meaningful discussion and helped to facilitate the exchange of planning knowledge. Without your participation and ongoing support, we would not have such successful annual events. You are the reason why OPPI hosts these each year.

To the speakers, it is your interactive and engaging sessions that allow for the exchange of knowledge and help to better the state of our profession in Ontario and elsewhere, and the main reason why professional planners and other related professions attend our annual event.

To the volunteers who worked for more than a year to put on the biggest planning event in Ontario, it is your hard work and dedication to OPPI that makes any of this possible.

As President of OPPI I am heartened to see the high level of enthusiasm our members have for their important work, and their willingness to share it to create a better Ontario.

Mark your calendars! OPPI looks forward to welcoming you to Sudbury next October 11-12 to discuss the importance of Community Readiness and continue the planning knowledge exchange. I hope you will be joining us.

Together, WE are OPPI!
