Why I Am a Director

I joined the OPPI Council to advance planning as a profession that offers diverse career paths beyond traditional roles. I value promoting the RPP designation and demonstrating how planning skills—critical thinking grounded in theory and practice—strengthen municipalities in areas such as economic development and strategic initiatives. 

My Background 

I am Director of Development and Tourism for the County of Dufferin, overseeing planning, building, economic development and museum services. With 15+ years in municipal leadership, I hold degrees from the University of Waterloo in Political Science, Public Service and Planning, and am a Certified Economic Development Professional, PMP and RPP.
