OPPI is distributing digital badges to all Full and Candidate members currently in good standing. Digital badges offer the Full Registered Professional Planners (RPPs) and our Candidate members a way to showcase their achievement! Eligible earners will receive the official email announcement from us to claim their badge! Badges can easily be linked and shared in a digitally verifiable format in the following ways:
- LinkedIn and other social media platforms
- Email signatures
- Embedded into a personal or professional website

Insurance
OPPI members can enjoy a variety of benefits and services, including professional liability insurance (PLI), brokered by BMS Canada Risk Services Ltd. (BMS)
Professional Liability Coverage
As part of your membership fees, OPPI offers Error & Omissions (Professional Liability) insurance coverage for all Full, Candidate, Retired and Non-Practicing members of OPPI. A summary of liability coverage and your insurance certificate is available by logging into your member profile.
Additional Individual & Business Coverage
In addition to PLI, OPPI members also have access to Commercial General Liability, Legal Entity PLI , Property/Content/Crime Coverage , Cyber Security and Privacy Liability, Personal & Family Cyber Coverage, Employment Practices Liability, Legal Services Package and more.
