Why Am I a Director?

I am passionate about contributing to the changing directions of the planning profession and working with OPPI Council to elevate the profile of OPPI, our members and the impact of planning work on our communities.

My Background

I am the Director of Planning & Housing Policy at the City of Kitchener, one of the fastest growing cities in Canada.  My current portfolio includes policy planning, project management, zoning, realty services and housing-related initiatives.  I’ve supported transformative projects in Kitchener, including the new Official Plan, Kitchener2051; the award-winning downtown policy and zoning framework (Growing Together); the comprehensive review of the zoning by-law; and new housing programs
