Charles Hostovsky & Ella Gindi

Charles Hostovsky is a Registered Professional Planner and has been a practitioner-educator in urban environmental planning for 40 years. Hi is Research Assocuare and adjunct faculty member at McMaster University. Previously he was a faculty member at the University of Toronto for 12 years, as well as SFU, Brock, TMU, and Dalhousie for a total of 20 years teaching. Professionally he has been a planner with a medium-sized Canadian city, the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change, and a major consulting engineering/planning firm. Chuck holds the Government of Canada CMHC Award for Teaching Sustainability as well as awards from the Canadian Association of Geographers and two awards Canadian Institute of Planners where he was one of the project managers.

Ella Gindi is a PhD Candidate at McMaster University and is a Planner at the Municipality of Ella R. Gindi the District of Lunenburg.
