Role and Responsibilities

In addition to providing leadership and maintaining regular contact with the Student Representatives, the Student Delegate's role and responsibilities include the following functions:

• Promoting student awareness of OPPI and Student membership in the Institute, by visiting the planning programs recognized by OPPI and promoting student-oriented activities, initiatives and research through regular submissions to the Ontario Planning Journal.
• Encouraging student involvement in the various programs, activities and committees at both the provincial and district levels.
• Attending and participating in the promotion and development of Student Day at the OPPI Conference or Symposium.
• Representing OPPI at the annual CAPS conference.

Note: All related and approved expenses are paid for by OPPI.
