Danny Bridson is an urban planner and designer for the Stockholm, Sweden based studio Mandaworks. He studied urban and regional planning at Toronto’s Ryerson University before completing a Masters degree in Sustainable Urban Design at Lund University in Sweden. Living and working in Sweden for the last eight years he has been involved in urban projects at all scales from regional development plans, to detailed public space design. From 2014 to 2018 Danny worked intensely with the Kolkajen Masterplan in Stockholm’s Royal Seaport - one of Europe’s largest and most progressive urban development areas. The Kolkajen Masterplan was nominated for Sweden’s National Planning prize in 2017. Danny has guest lectured and critiqued at Stockholm’s KTH University, and Toronto’s Ryerson University, and has been invited speak at urban planning and design conferences in Montreal, Halifax and Calgary in Canada.
