Peter and his wife, Dawn, reside in a small village in Trent Hills, where they enjoy activities such as canoeing, gardening, and outdoor pursuits.
Kira Mees is an experienced Community Development Manager with a demonstrated history of working and volunteering with municipal and social service organizations. She uses her broad professional and personal network to assist with creating partnerships and connections. Her leisure time is focused on sailing with her husband, Shane, and traveling to see their children, Sadie & Harrison who live away while attending university.
I am a professional transportation planner with nearly a decade of experience in leading and
coordinating sustainable and multi-modal mobility projects, providing planning and policy input and analysis. I also have additional years of experience in communications, education, and publishing from before pursuing a career in urban planning. My areas of expertise include engagement and facilitation, public and stakeholder consultation and outreach, active transportation infrastructure planning, monitoring, and program management, and transportation demand management programming and policy development. I also do important work (and play) as the daddy to two young girls: Isabel and Rosalie.
