Marcia Wallace

Marcia Wallace is the Chief Administrative Officer for Prince Edward County, a vibrant single tier municipality in Eastern Ontario with an active agricultural sector a strong tourism related economy.  In this role she leads the provision of a wide range of municipal services for residents, businesses and visitors. 

Prior to this role Marcia spent 20 years working for the province of Ontario, her last position as Assistant Deputy Minister with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.  In that role, Marcia was responsible for the Ontario Building Code and regional offices across Ontario implementing policy and programs related to municipal finance, municipal governance, housing, land use planning and disaster recovery programs.  Her provincial experience also included several roles related to environment protection, renewal/redevelopment and the transformation of service delivery.

In addition to this experience, Marcia also has a Ph.D. in Urban Planning from the University of Waterloo and is a Registered Professional Planning with the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI).
