Michelle is a city builder with 10 years' experience designing and leading engagement processes, building coalitions and being a champion for great ideas. Michelle has a history of working successfully with broad coalitions of people to advance new public policies at the municipal, provincial and federal levels. Some of her projects include the Toronto Youth Food Policy Council, The GTA Housing Action Lab, The National Housing Collaborative, Move the GTHA and Future Cities Canada. Michelle understands the role of building a strong parade of champions behind bold policy ideas.
As Senior Lead at Evergreen, Michelle currently manages Evergreen's action labs, blending together research and action to advance solutions. Her work is focused on building partnerships with people from a variety of backgrounds to identify shared opportunities. Michelle works together with partners to break down barriers between fields, produce pragmatic research and pilot solutions. Michelle has worked in federal and municipal politics and non-profit research. She has a BA from the University of Toronto and a Master’s of Environmental Policy from York University.
