Susan Robertson, RPP has worked with First Nations, Métis and Indigenous communities ancestral to the Greater Golden Horseshoe for over ten years. Further to her efforts, Susan is the grateful recipient of a Credits Award in 2017 from the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation for her contribution to supporting their culture through The Shared Path/Le Sentier Partagé: Toronto’s Newest Discovery Walk© and the Credit Valley Trail Indigenous Experience Plan.
With an education in Cultural Anthropology, Human Geography and Environmental Planning, Susan strives for sustainable communities through collaboration. Committed to continuous learning, Susan has completed a two-day course by Jide Afolade, lawyer and Chief Federal negotiator on The Duty to Consult and Accomodate and is a certified member of all training courses offered by Indigenous Corporate Training Inc.
