Terrance Glover is the principal of ‘Urban in Mind’ Urban Planning, Land Development & CPTED Consultants, a boutique planning firm which offers professional services to both the private and public sectors.
After graduation in Urban Planning from Ryerson University (1997) and Mohawk College (1993), Terrance continued his education to become a specialist in Crime Prevention Through Urban Design (CPTED). Through his education and experience Terrance has developed the ability to identify technical issues that may not be immediately apparent. This skill allows him to analyse, negotiate and resolve complicated matters before they become significant issues.
In 2015, Terrance founded ‘Urban in Mind’ to offer his clients an honest, fair, affordable, and exceptional customer service experience; something that he felt was lacking in the industry. He is passionate about Urban Design, CPTED, and the relationship built-form has with the surrounding community and the people who live, work, and play within it.
Terrance is a Registered Professional Planner (OPPI), and Certified Planning Technician (CACPT). Terrance has also been qualified by the ‘Office of the Attorney General for the State of Florida’, as a CPTED specialist, and is a past Board Member of ‘CPTED-Ontario’.
Over his career, Terrance has developed an expertise in municipal development planning and has appeared on numerous occasions as an expert witness at the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) and Toronto Local Appeal Body (TLAB) (as well as its previous iterations – i.e. OMB & LPAT).
It is this solid knowledge of municipal process, government policies, CPTED principles, and his passion for good planning, that provides Terrance the ability to help both private and public sector clients make smart, informed and timely decisions.
