Nikita Jariwala is excited to be a co-chair for the Eastern District Leadership Team (EDLT). EDLT is a volunteer group of 10 planners in Kingston and Ottawa who are dedicated to continuous professional learning and strengthening the planning profession through member engagement and recognition. A volunteer with EDLT since 2019, Nikita is eager to collaborate with other OPPI members across Ontario and the Eastern District to create new and exciting opportunities. Nikita Jariwala earned her Planning degree from Queen’s University in 2021 and is working towards her Registered Professional Planner designation. She is currently working as a planner with J.L. Richards & Associates Ltd. Her planning interests lie in real estate, streetscape design, transit-oriented development, and winter city planning.
