Justin is a Planner and Planning Technician specializing in Urban Design. He has extensive experience in designing large-scale subdivision projects, draft plans, block plans, site plans, streetscapes, planning justification reports, and urban design guidelines. His academic and professional background includes work with several non-profit organizations, where he developed skills in development strategies, critical thinking, public engagement, and collaborative teamwork.

With several years of planning experience and volunteer involvement, Justin has honed his ability to evaluate key planning documents, engage effectively with the public, and continuously expand his knowledge of planning theory and practice. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Urban and Regional Planning (with a focus on Urban Design) from the University of Waterloo, a double major in Film and English from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a Planning Technician Diploma from Mohawk College.

Justin’s passion for creative solutions is reflected in his technical drawings, 2D and 3D drafting skills, and artistic renderings, earning him multiple awards for his submission work. Actively engaged in the planning community, he serves as Chair of OPPI Toronto District and is a board member of CACPT.

Beyond his professional work, Justin enjoys exploring Toronto’s hidden and forgotten spaces by bike, documenting his discoveries through photography.
