EMPLOYER: Oxford County LOCATION: Oxford County, ON DEADLINE DATE: August 31, 2022 The focus of this position is development review, which will involve reviewing and processing planning applications made under the Planning Act; preparing and presenting planning reports and recommendations to County and/or Area Municipal Councils; acting as liaison between the County and Area Municipalities with respect to Provincial and County land use policies, goals and objectives; and responding to development inquiries and conducting pre-consultations for all manner of planning applications. This position may also assist with land use policy development, as required, and may involve conducting and/or assisting with policy research and development; special projects; data analysis (both spatial – GIS and non-spatial); report writing and public consultation pertaining to the County’s long range planning program.
