LGBTQ2S+ Communities and Planning

June is Pride Month and here at OPPI, we are committed to ensuring that stronger and more meaningful representation of the LGBTQ2S+ communities are both welcomed and supported in the planning profession.

Last year, we hosted a Forum Friday webinar, where participants learned more about the history and context of LGBTQ2S+ perspectives in planning. Participants were able to take away important lessons including some best practices to better plan and create spaces for LGBTQ2S+ communities.
