OPPI highlights Indigenous art in new corporate headquarters

While developing our new corporate headquarters earlier this year, OPPI made it a priority to showcase Indigenous work in our new space. Spanning an entire wall, OPPI is honoured to have a visual representation that reinforces our important role as the voice of the planning profession in Ontario. This mural is a visual land acknowledgment focused on the original Six Nations peace treaty and tells part of the Anishinaabe creation story. Visit the OPPI corporate headquarters to see the mural.

About the Artist:
Que Rock; Manitou Nemeen (Quentin Commanda) is a Nipissing First Nation-born multi-disciplinary artist. As an Anishinaabe graffiti artist, he blends his Anishinaabe teachings with his unique painting style to create smooth transitions of colour, blending abstract form with realism and expressionism.
