OPPI-OALA Joint Conference:
Call for presentations now open

The Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI) and the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA) have partnered to host a joint conference in London, Ontario this fall - in person!

The joint OPPI-OALA conference will be especially exciting as it marks a return to in-person events for both organizations since the beginning of the pandemic.

On September 21 and 22, explore the important role that professional planners and landscape architects play in the natural and built environments, including the ongoing climate crisis, racial and social injustice, the inherent rights and title of Indigenous Peoples, and other relevant topics impacting Ontario communities.

This is your chance to present in person at our most talked about event of the year!

OPPI and OALA encourage diverse projects, viewpoints, and speakers. The involvement of equity-deserving groups is strongly encouraged, and all speakers should consider how to represent or incorporate topics of equity, diversity, and inclusion into their sessions.

As we return to in-person events, the health and safety of our conference speakers, attendees, and staff is of the utmost importance. OPPI and OALA will continue to follow the latest government recommendations to provide you with the best level of protection at the joint conference this fall.

Submit your presentation by April 10, 2022.
