PlanON Awards Call for submissions now open

The PlanON submission period is open from March 1 to May 1.

The PlanON Awards is a brand-new awards program that honours the exceptional achievements of OPPI members who demonstrate professional excellence and a commitment to advancing the planning profession in Ontario.
 
Starting in 2023, this awards program celebrates the work of Registered Professional Planners (RPPs), and other OPPI members at every career stage, and recognizes the important role the planning profession plays in shaping the quality, livability, and sustainability of communities for future generations.

Because OPPI has not offered an awards program since before the pandemic, the 2023 PlanON Awards will accept submissions that were built, implemented, adopted, approved, published, etc. within the last four years (2019-2022).
 
The PlanON Awards are the highest honour OPPI can bestow and will be awarded in the following categories:

• PlanON Public Education Award
• PlanON Innovative Research Award
• PlanON Vision Award: Planning Documentation
• PlanON Vision Award: Planning Process
• PlanON Emerging Leadership Award
• PlanOn RPP Leadership Award
• PlanON Volunteer Service Award

Get to know your PlanON Awards jury!
 
The PlanON Awards are judged by a panel of six (6) jurors, consisting of OPPI members and allied professionals. The jury panel can be made of up individuals from within and outside the planning profession from diverse geographic areas, sectors, backgrounds, and demographics. Read the juror profiles.
