October 03, 2017

Within the context of managing compliance with the Nutrient Management Act and the Clean Water Act, the presenters will highlight a successful collaboration among the Ontario Farm Environment Coalition, the Canadian Environmental Law Association, a coalition of other environmental organizations, and the provincial ministries of agriculture, farms and rural affairs and the environment and climate change. The result was a compromise satisfactory to all parties.

  • Understanding that collaborative planning requires leadership that can bridge conflicting interests.
