Planning for Our Urban Forest as Infrastructure

What value comes from a tree? How valuable is the urban forest? This session will explore the value of trees and ways to assess the long-term sustainability of a municipality’s urban forest. Using London as a case study, best practices will be identified. Participants will discuss elements of an urban forest strategy: how to grow more, plant more and maintain better.
