Dispute Resolution Approaches - Mediation and Arbitration

Given concerns over the number of planning applications ending up at the OMB and recent changes to the Planning Act, which provide direction on using alternative methods of dispute resolution, are receiving considerable attention. Participants will learn the key differences between arbitration and mediation, how to select the right approach and what the planner’s role entails.
