Jennifer’s involvement in the Drinking Water Source Protection program has spanned over 10 years. She was involved with the Program before the Clean Water Act even reached Royal Assent. She firstwas Technical Coordinator for the Program at Conservation Ontario where she worked with the 36 conservation authorities in beginning the technical work required to comply with what was at that time the ‘Technical Guidance’ prepared to assist in the creation of the Assessment Reports. After a few years working as a Water Quality Specialist with the Province of Manitoba, she returned to manage the development and completion of the Trent and Ganaraksa Assessment Reports and Source Protection Plans for the Trent Conservation Coalition Source Protection Region. After another hiatus as the Director of Environment with the Canadian Steel Producers Association, she has returned to the Drinking Water Source Protection Program to implement the CTC Source Protection Plan and begin the next cycle of planning.
 
Jennifer holds degrees in biology, specializing in aquatic environments, from Western and Queen’s
universities.
