Matthew is an engagement specialist and teacher, focusing on the design and delivery of public engagement processes that facilitate stable and defensible outcomes. He incorporates his training and experience as a teacher to help facilitate reciprocal learning processes to promote understanding among students, public citizens, stakeholders and decision makers.
 

Matthew also uses his understanding of the incentives and barriers to participation to encourage meaningful and accessible engagement by promoting the inclusion of multiple points of view in all learning environments.
