Patrick Cormier

Patrick Cormier is Vice President (Business Development) at Solutions Notarius Inc., a

Montreal-based company providing high reliability digital signatures to professionals and

organizations throughout Canada. In the period 2011 to early 2014, he was Chief Executive

Officer of the Canadian Centre for Court Technology - Centre canadien de technologie judiciaire

(CCCT-CCTJ). He also served as IT Expert Counsel on the Quebec Bar Information Technology

Committee.
 

Mr. Cormier is a regular conference speaker and instructor on digital signatures, information

security and the law. He also provided continuous legal education to judges and members of the

Justice sector across the country. 

 

Prior to this, Mr Cormier completed 20 years in the Canadian Forces, first as a Signals Officer

and next as a military lawyer and project director in the Office of the Judge-Advocate General.

He holds a Bachelor of Space Sciences from Collège militaire royal de Saint-Jean (B.Sc., 1992),

a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University (B.C.L./LL.B., 2001). He

is a member of the Québec Bar since 2002.
