Paul Stagl, RPP

President, Opus Management Inc.

Mr. Stagl provides land use planning and development consulting services to both public and private sector clients.
 
Mr. Stagl has been a practicing planner for over 40 years and is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) in the province of Ontario. He has been an active member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI), including various Canadian Institute of Planners and OPPI Director's roles, the Chairman of the OPPI Discipline Committee and as the President of OPPI (2013-2015).
 
Mr. Stagl graduated in 1974 with a Bachelor of Applied Arts (Urban Planning) from Ryerson Polytechncial Institute (Toronto).
 
He has practiced as a public municipal planner and has been in private practice since 1979: an Associate at MMM, a Partner at IBI Group and as a sole practitioner since 1990, with experience across the province, across the country and in the USA. Mr. Stagl has been qualified on numerous occasions to give expert professional planning evidence before the Ontario Municipal Board as well as other appeal tribunals and the Courts.
 
He has also been a speaker and guest lecturer to various organizations and agencies.
