Professor Bachelor of Environmental Design and Planning, Fanshawe College

Mr. Pol is an RPP Professor. He has more than thirty-five years of professional land use planning experience in southwestern Ontario.  He is currently a Professor in the Bachelor of Environmental Design degree and Planning and the GIS and Urban Planning diploma program at Fanshawe College London.  He has held various planning positions with the City of London, Province of Ontario and IBI Group in south western Ontario.  His area of planning interest is using the design charrette as experiential learning for communities to address land use change.  He is most excited to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday through a student design competition to imagine our shared values.  He is a graduate of the School of Urban and Regional Planning, Ryerson University (B.A.A.) and the Master of Public Administration, Western University (M.P.A.). For recreation, he enjoys long distance cycling adventures.
