#2GETHER2022
This study proposes to estimate differences in travel behaviour between immigrant and non-immigrant groups in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). The wide range of literature collected for the research explores five major subject areas in travel behaviour that include auto travel/vehicle ownership, transit use, alternative commute modes, travel distance, and social and economic factors affecting travel behaviour. The research question surrounds the differences in travel behaviour between immigrants and non-immigrant groups. Preliminary results were created after obtaining and analyzing data from an online survey conducted in December 2018.
