Community Benefits Charges: An update on where things are at Recent legislative changes have introduced community benefits charges (CBC) under section 37 of the Planning Act. Many municipalities in Ontario are in the process of implementing a CBC by-law. Come hear an overview of the legislative framework including how CBCs relate to development charges and parkland contributions, some key issues municipalities and proponents should consider, and a status update on where things are at.
