MW6: The Evolution and Transformation of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Twenty Years Later

October 02, 2019

2:30PM - 4:30PM

Twenty years ago, the re-imagining of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) on Queen Street began. The goal was to create an urban village that would create a new environment to foster transformation on all levels – how to transform an existing institution, community consultation, how to address mental health to the ways CAMH is transforming lives. Much has happened and is still taking place twenty years later. Participants will gain knowledge about the master plan process in the transformation of CAMH, understand how this plan was able to evolve and adapt over time and learn about the insights, lessons learned, positive outcomes and success of this transformation.
