F8: Culture Change Needed: Empowering Tomorrow's Public Sector Leaders

This session will focus on the challenges the next generation of public service leaders will have as they integrate technologies into government services to support a digital, seamless interface for the public. These include the need for innovation and to attract talented workers as baby-boomers retire. Presenters will discuss the benefits of a technology-first approach and interdisciplinary team collaboration to implement programs across traditional siloes.
Learning Objectives:
Understanding that the workplaces of tomorrow will look very different than today in terms of digital processes and the age of leaders
Understanding the importance of interaction between public sector and private sector leaders.
Understanding the importance of transferring knowledge from ageing baby boomers to millennials.
