Professor of Sustainable Housing Transformation, Delft University of Technology

Anke van Hal, is a professor of Sustainable Housing Transformation at the faculty of architecture of the Delft University of Technology, who has more than 25 years as a sustainable buildings specialist. She is also a professor of Sustainable Building and Development of the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Stewardship of Nyenrode Business University.  Anke co-initiated Parallel 52, a Dutch Canadian Sustainable buildings and planning network. Anke will contribute expertise from neighbourhood and building project experience in Europe, sharing best practices and approaches in resilient development in a country where fundamental basic need is focused on resilient infrastructure.
