Manager - Policy Planning and Heritage, Town of Oakville

Diane Childs career as a municipal planner spans over 27 years during which she has been involved in numerous policy planning and current development projects.   As a long range planner her most notable accomplishments include comprehensive reviews of the official plans and zoning by-laws for the Town of Oakville and City of Mississauga.  In her current role as Manager of Policy Planning and Heritage for the Town of Oakville, she is the lead for a range of town-wide and area specific planning policy projects.  A key component of her work involves working directly with consultants and multi-disciplinary teams as well as overseeing staff involvement in projects of a similar nature.
