Kirk Biggar, RPP, MCIP

Kirk Biggar has over 11 years’ experience with the Town of Oakville as a municipal land use planner. In his current role as Senior Planner, Policy Planning, he has been involved in numerous land use policy initiatives and current development projects. A component of his work with the Town of Oakville involves project management and participation on multi-disciplinary teams comprised of town staff and external consultants. Part of this involves operating within the town’s procurement system to purchase outside consulting services.

 

Prior to working at the Town of Oakville, Mr. Biggar owned and operated the Healthy Forest Company. This private consultancy provided a full range of resource management planning and implementation services to the public, private, not-for-profit and corporate sectors.

 

Kirk is a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners, a Registered Professional Planner and a Registered Professional Forester in Ontario.
