Susan Tanabe, RPP

Manager, Transportation Planning, City of Mississauga

Susan is serving as Acting Manager of Transportation at the City of Mississauga and the city prepares for the arrival of the Hurontario LRT. Her wealth of experience as long-time member of the City’s policy planning team, including her most recent position as Manager of Community Planning, helps to enrich the transportation team at this exciting time of transit-oriented city building. Recent projects accomplished by Susan and her teams include the Port Credit and Lakeview Local Area Plans, MyMalton Visioning Project,  East Bloor Corridor Review, and Port Credit and Lakeview Parking Strategy. Current projects include Lakeshore Connecting Communities and the Transportation Master Plan. She looks forward to learning from your impressions of planning in car-oriented communities at the Fishbowl Discussion she will facilitate at this conference.
