Participants will enjoy a tour of the recent redevelopments along Toronto's Entertainment Waterfront. Participants will explore the public grounds at Hotel X at Exhibition Place which is adjacent to the Beanfield Centre. Ian Dance, Landscape Architect and Partner from Dillon Consulting will discuss the history and thematic evolution of the design of the grounds for Hotel X, one of Toronto's newest hotel destinations including the history of the Stanley Barracks. Next, participants will be led across Lake Shore Boulevard West to experience one of Toronto's newest landmark waterfront Parks, Trillium Park. Patrick Morello from LANDinc., who led the park’s design, will lead the tour through the park and discuss the story behind the design and the many unique spaces within the park.
