Has your community declared a climate emergency? Are you facing challenges with aging infrastructure? Are you curious about what climate resilience or asset management is, and how it relates to your role as a planner or landscape architect? Join us in this hands-on workshop which will provide a foundation of practical knowledge about climate resilience and asset (infrastructure) management, the importance of considering them together, and how you can work towards building a more adaptable and sustainable community. It will include a toolkit of tips, templates, techniques, and examples that can be used in practice once you return home. This session will be most beneficial for municipal practitioners or those supporting municipalities. You’ll be given a chance to try out some useful tools during the workshop. There will also be opportunities to connect with other people and begin building a network of contacts who are in a similar place in their journey.
