Design Lead ǀ Manager, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design

Alison is a Registered Landscape Architect and Urban Designer with over 18 years of international design experience. With a focus on public spaces, Alison has had the opportunity to works with a wide range of Clients, Stakeholders, Rights Holders, as well as grass roots user and community groups in the creation of meaningful places. Notable projects include the being part of the  Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park design team for the 2012 games, the Centre Block Rehabilitation project for the core heritage landscape of Parliament Hill, the Waterfront & Riverwalk Master Plan for historic Port Hope, the Concept Master Plan for Island Lake Conservation Area, and the transformation of 16 acres of the downtown Halifax waterfront as part of the Cogswell Redevelopment project (ongoing). Alison has lead the design for a wide range of urban and country parks, public realm and streetscape improvements, education and healthcare campuses, landscape restoration projects, and mixed-use master plans nationally and internationally. Alison has been an guest critic for the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture program at the University of Guelph, and served as advisor for the University of Toronto, School of Cities, Multidisciplinary Urban Capstone Design Course. She supports developing professionals in Landscape Architecture as a mentor for the OALA, and examiner for the Landscape Institute (UK).
