April Nix is a policy planner with the County of Oxford. April is a land use planner with a passion for integrating and applying ecology, sustainability and biodiversity concepts into planning frameworks and community planning. She is graduate from the University of Waterloo and Sir Sandford Fleming College, and a member of the Ontario Professional Planning Institute and the Canadian Institute of Planners. April has previously held land use and related planning positions with several Ontario ministries, including the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and municipalities, including the City of Guelph.
