Blair Scorgie is an Associate in Planning and Urban Design at SvN. In addition to his work at SvN, Blair is a Contract Lecturer at Ryerson University’s School of Urban and Regional Planning, and a Field Placement Supervisor at York University’s School of Urban Studies. Blair holds a Master of Architecture, specializing in Urban Design, from McGill University as well as a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University. He is a Registered Professional Planner, a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners, and a member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute. Blair’s diverse project experience includes Streetscape and Public Realm Design Studies; Architectural Control and Built Form Design Studies; Growth Management Strategies; Waterfront, Campus and District Master Planning Exercises; Municipality-Wide Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments; Secondary Planning Studies; Community Health and Urban Resiliency Strategies; Development Feasibility Studies; Development Application Management and Coordination; and Urban Design Peer Reviews.
