Laura Zeglen works for the City of Mississauga’s Active Transportation team, where her major projects relate specifically to promoting and supporting active school travel. Over the years she has worked as a school travel planner, researcher, teacher and community organizer. She holds a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Physical and Health Education from the University of Toronto, and a teaching degree from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. She is the mother of an inquisitive 4 year old, and one of her favourite pastimes is their daily walks together to and from school.
