Landscape Architect at the City of Mississauga

Monika Kokoszka is a full member of the OALA and is currently a Landscape Architect at the City of Mississauga. As the first Landscape Architect in the Forestry Department, Monika is dedicated to creating resilient street tree corridors within the urban realm. Through ongoing inter-departmental collaboration, she pursues innovative and practical solutions to support the expansion of the urban tree canopy, with the goal of unlocking the secret to sustaining the illusive 100-year urban tree. She holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and a Masters of Science in Planning from the University of Guelph and has been an ISA Certified Arborist since 2012.
