Dr. Patricia Collins is an Associate Professor who teaches in the School of Urban and Regional Planning at Queen's University in Kingston. She is a healthy communities scholar and teacher, whose research focuses on the links between community livability, health, and well-being. She is currently the principal investigator of one project that is examining the community-level consequences of public school closures in Ontario, and she is a co-principal investigator of another project that is evaluating the implementation and impacts of street rebalancing initiatives aimed at children.
