Coordinator at Urban Minds and a graduate of the MES in Planning program at the University of Waterloo

Patrycia is a Project Coordinator at Urban Minds and a graduate of the MES in Planning program at the University of Waterloo. She is an aspiring urban planner and currently works as a Planning and Public Health Research Assistant at UW Her research interests are largely in food gentrification and intersectionality from a planning perspective. As Project Coordinator at Urban Minds, Patrycia has led several youth workshops on a diversity of planning topics. She has also directed planning professionals on how to better connect with and engage youth into planning processes. Patrycia is passionate about inclusive placemaking and equitable access in cities. She is motivated by the prospect of amplifying voices still invisible in planning processes, strengthening allyship between the planning profession and public health, and forevermore continuing her education through practice.
