Sarah has over 15 years working in planning consulting, land development, master planning, and community engagement. In her role with the Region of Waterloo as a Land Portfolio Manager she is focused on building out a portfolio development strategy, in the interest of advancing new affordable housing opportunities through land disposition, acquisition and development. Previous to her role with the Region she worked as a Senior development manager with The Daniels Corporation in Toronto, and as a Manager, planning + development with Fotenn Planning + Design in in both Ottawa and Toronto. Sarah completed her undergraduate degree in Geography (Urban Development) at Western University and her Masters in Planning at Ryerson ("X") University. She is an avid and fast walker, loves exploring Ontario’s small towns, and has dreams to someday paddle the Rideau Canal.
