Facing change and guiding Ontario into the next quarter century
Technology has allowed a more seamless interaction between planning and community engagement, creating greater opportunity for a wide range of stakeholders to be engaged throughout the planning and development process. However, there is an opportunity for a more continuous and interactive feedback loop. This session will explore ways in which community engagement can leverage technology to stimulate greater participation through creating more accessible and effective tools used to inform the planning and development process, and what planners are doing right and areas of improvement in facilitating the most effective community engagement possible.
